Alex
Hofmann (*1980) studied improvisation and saxophone at the
HMT-Hannover, and visited composition classes with Joachim Heintz at
"Elektronisches Studio für Neue Musik".
Until now he has been
concentrating mostly in acoustic communication between musician and
computer. For this special field he got invitations to play at the ZKM
Karlsruhe
"next generation festival", Sprengel Museum
Hannover, within the "Made in Germany 2007" exhibition, and concerts
presented by the "Hannoversche Gesellschaft für Neue Musik".
In
2008 he worked as a sound-designer for "Native Instruments" and gave
live-electronic workshops with SuperCollider and Max/Msp at the
"Deutsche Schüler Akademie".
